be simply mounted anywhere in the engine compartment, away from
excessive heat and vibration."
After
fitting Economax in any vehicle, the immediate changes can be seen as
reduction in engine sound and improvement in pickup. If a car is using
Hi-Octane fuel, it can easily switch over to lower grade fuel without
any compromise in performance.
For conversion to unleaded fuel use atleast two full tanks of normal
leaded fuel before switching. But if leaded fuel is not available,
allow 1000kms for the catalyst to adjust to lower octane fuel.
After 1200km-1500km engine oil and oil filter must be changed because
all the carbon, waxes and gum deposits are cleaned and dropped in oil,
which becomes dirty and clogs the oil filter. After the initial oil
change the vehicle will not require oil change for longer periods and
in petrol engine the spark plugs will remain cleaner for longer period. |
